About Us
My lovely wife Katie had a Tea shop in Wayneville, Missouri called Cornucopia Epicure Shoppe. She came to Illinois and bought a home in Aurora. We met on match.com and we were married on Valentines Day 2011. 2019 we were talking about re starting her business so we opened it online from our home in Aurora. It was called The Cornucopia Tea and Gift Shop.
About two years ago we managed to open our business in a brick & mortar on 63 S Broadway Downtown Aurora. Katie had 40 years of retail experience and she built this business from the ground up and I helped the best that I could. Unfortunately, Katie passed away unexpectedly in December of 2023. I her husband Dave have a Mission from God to keep the store open and keep Katie's legacy going as long as I can. It is a beautiful Mom & Pop shop with a lot of wonderful and unique products.
Come and check us out online and in store. My mission is 100% customer satisfaction. We have a A+ with the BBB and 5 Stars on Google.
Our first review in store from a wonderful customer- This adorable little shop is a hidden gem. If you like tea, you NEED to visit this place. Most tea stores are run by corporate overlords and have lost their local charm. This place is exactly what I think of when I think of a tea shop- warm, inviting, and with the kindest owners willing
to help you with anything you need.
They also have a great business making gift baskets. Not the stuffy kind you see in catalogs, but fun ones with thought put into them. The owners gave me some great ideas of what to buy the Mom who has everything for Mother's day! I'd encourage you to come give this shop a try! It's well worth the trip no matter where you are in the Chicago land Suburbs!
